I swear if he doesn’t win in 2012, major shit is gonna go down in the U.S. He is the only candidate that knows what he is doing.
Steve Paikin wrote a book called ‘The Dark side’. At the end of the book he gives an analogy, where if you can imagine Air Canada spending millions to advertise how West Jet was the worst airline in the world. West Jet also then spends millions to advertise Air Canada as being the worst airline in the world. As hearing these ads, how likely are you to fly with either of them? Most likely neither. Now if you compare this analogy to politics, it is very similar. All you get is bickering and bashing in between candidates. How can you vote for either? You probably won’t. And if you did have to vote, it is like voting for the least worst person. Even though you don’t look at all the negative bashing going on between candidates, most will probably not keep half of their promises they say during their campaign. The problem is trust between the voters and candidates. How will you know they will keep their word? You don’t. It is a risk you take. No wonder the voting stats has been going down. Voting is just not appealing to the average person. Im not saying that everyone should not vote, but if you do, I don’t want to hear you complaining about the person in office after you have voted for him/her.
(edit) I want to add that I live in Canada and right now we are following in America’s footsteps in almost every single bad way. Canada for some false reason is taking part in an illegal war, its’ debt is growing at an astronomical rate, its’ resources are being plundered by foreign companies, new foreign policy is being implemented that is undermining its’ sovereignty and economy and this is just the tip of the iceberg. The only party that seem like they can actually fix these issues is the Canadian Action Party, but that party is so small right now no one even knows about it. These guys are like the Ron Paul of Canada. If I were living in the States I would definitely, undoubtedly, 110% vote for Ron Paul. I think he is the only guy that can change things around, but I’ll do another post about him later.
